Part of Arlington County comprised of the Ashton Heights, Ballston, Clarendon, Lyon Park, Overlee Knolls, Westover, Arlington Forest, Fillmore, Jefferson, Dominion Hills, Lexington, Arlington View, Ashlawn, Virginia Square, and Woodbury Precincts and parts of the Barcroft and Glen Carlyn Precincts. All references to precincts shall be interpreted to refer to those in existence on April 1, 2001, and as reported by the United States Bureau of the Census in the 2000 Census reports provided pursuant to United States Public Law § 94-171.
The following descriptions are provided for information purposes only pursuant to § 24.2-301 of the Code of Virginia. The provisions of § 24.2-304.01 of the Code of Virginia, including the statistical report referenced therein and on file with the Clerk of the House of Delegates, shall be controlling in any legal determination of the district boundary.

- north on North Glebe Road to I-66 via the access ramp
- northeast on I-66 to North Lee Highway
- east on North Lee Highway to North Kirkwood Road
- south on North Kirkwood Road to North Jackson Street
- south on North Jackson Street to North Wilson Boulevard
- north on North Wilson Boulevard to North Washington Boulevard
- east on North Washington Boulevard to North Garfield Street
- south on North Garfield Street to 10th Street North
- east on 10th Street North to North Barton Street
- north on North Barton Street to North Wilson Boulevard
- east on North Wilson Boulevard to North Court House Road
- south on North Court House Road to North Arlington Boulevard (United States Highway 50)

- south on I-395 approximately 0.2 miles to an access road that connects Army-Navy Drive and the I-395 access road

- south on the I-395 access road 0.1 miles to a point
- west on a straight line to the terminus of 15th Street South
- west on 15th Street South to its intersection with Rolfe Street
- west on a straight line to an unnamed stream
- west on the unnamed stream to a point approximately 150 feet east of South Barton Street
